A day late,

But our 7th& 8th grade recorded a doughnut 🍩!! Improving their record to 2-1 for the year

Our 5th n 6th grade tean fought hard and made a red zone stop to end the game in a tie!
Bringing their record to 1-1-1 !

We play Kettle Moran Lutheran next at Raabe Stadium!

Both 7th/8th grade & 5th/6th grade were victorious!
Making our record 1-1 it was a beautiful bounce back week!

Next week we head to St.Thomas More , also another thank you to all our parents we couldn’t do this without you!

After a long day in the sun! Our scrimmage is finally over. Great performance from both 7th n 8th and 5th n 6th grade! Thank you to all our parents and friends that came to support.

We are 2 weeks away from Game day. We learned alot today and will get better each day!

Please don’t forget the jr popes store closes Saturday now that jersey numbers have been assigned please lock in your orders. Right now we only have 2 families who purchased items.
If we sell enough money will go back to the jr popes. Also you are able to pick ship to pius for free and I’ll handle receiving the gear from them. Any questions please reach out

Good Afternoon JR Popes Families a few upcoming important dates and info to plan for.

August 11th Parent Meeting
August 27th Scrimmage
September 10th First Games
October 22nd Last Games

Will be 7 week seasons for both 5/6th and 7/8th grade teams.

7/8th will consist of 12 teams and 2 divisions of 6, they will play each division team once and 2 non division games.

5/6th will have 8 teams so each team will play each other 1 time.

Once schedule is out for scrimmage and league games we will post on Facebook and TeamSnap. Those TeamSnap invites will be out by end of the day today for those of you that haven’t received one. Thank you for your constant support go Popes

Good afternoon JR Pope football families,

I would first like to apologize for the events that occurred yesterday within our organization. There was a miscommunication between the JR Pope coaching staff and the Pius athletic administration. Administration and coaching staff had a meeting and were able address/clarify this misunderstanding. Moving forward, our coaching staff will be the following:

5/6th grade
Head Coach: Eric Goetz
Assistant Coach: Richard Montana

7/8th grade
Head Coach: Mike Jackson
Assistant Coach: Edgar Rosada


We will be having another parent meeting to set goals and expectations for the JR Popes football season and to address any issues and or concerns that you may have regarding this season. Parent meeting will be August 11th at 6:30pm in the Pius Fieldhouse. Please feel free to reach out to me with any immediate concerns/questions

Equipment pick up is Saturday’s August 6th in the downstairs dungeon of the Pius fieldhouse

Good morning parents,

We will be having equipment handout THIS Saturday August 6th from 11am-1pm.

Please try to arrive right at 11am so we can get in and out as smooth as possible!

If you haven’t turned in your payment that will be due by Saturday or we cannot hand out equipment.
