As it’s said “All good things must come to an end!” After 39 years and over 13,000 kids participating in Circuit Baseball, Coach Heinkel has decided to bring the camp to a close.
A dream that began as part of his Master’s Thesis grew into a summertime destination for so many kids and families. It began on the campus of Milwaukee Lutheran High School and eventually moved west to Brookfield Lutheran Church campus. Those two fields served as the places would experience the foundations of Circuit Baseball: Thought for the Day, The Techniques Grid, The Circuit of skill stations, and Game Time.
When Circuit Baseball started, it was unlike any other baseball camp. The unique format and emphasis of sharing the love of Jesus grew from 200 in 1986 to almost 700 kids in 1992. Circuit Baseball average over 300 kids over the course of 39 years! There were countless hours of fun leading to play the greatest game ever created. Friendships were formed, confidence was built, skills and talents developed, and a great time was had by all!
To the kids and families, we want to thank you for being a part of the fun throughout the years! To the coaches and staff, thank you for pouring your energy and hearts into making Circuit Baseball a great experience for everyone. We couldn’t have done it without you! To our sponsors, thank you for believing in what Circuit Baseball was all about and making Circuit Baseball affordable for families!
To God be the glory and for His Kingdom,
