2 more memorable days on Champlain! Wednesday with a very nice couple from PA. This morning with a wonderful family from Boston. I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves. Except for that pristine 6.5lb hook jaw that Little Arthur put in the boat on our fist pass this morning. He deserves a special call out! He met me on the dock this morning and said "I want to catch a Salmon!" Loved the enthusiasm from these kids. Nice job little man.

My old friend from Price Chopper, John Mcgraw came aboard this morning with his grandkids looking for some Salmon. Unfortunately we dropped some nice ones in the bubbles. But we landed a 5lb Steelhead that put on a helluva show! Another beautiful morning on Champlain!

Karen Maze and family came aboard for a very pleasant morning on Champlain. Salmon was a slow bite early. Had a couple jump off on us. We switched over to a Laker program and got right into them. We did get a special bonus fish as a 26 inch Steelhead took a fixed chester about 10ft up! Some days those cheaters pay big dividends.

Jason came out with his wife and boys on Monday. We had a great day of family fun on the water. Duane Bleau brought his wife Nicki and his buddys out today. Lots of Salmon jumping and Lakers thumping! Nicki put on a clinic for the boys today as she masterfully landed a Laker over 11 and a Salmon over 5. Meanwhile the boys were showing us how to lose fish! 😂. Non stop laughter made for another awesome day on Champlain. Fish on!

Every trip out these trolls put multiple big Lakers in the boat for my guests. Weather you run a stick, a spoon or a spin and glow behind them. They CATCH fish! My good friend Jeffrey Sanford donated a charter to the "MACHIA WILDERNESS CAMP". Unfortunately a work obligation prevented him from hosting it. He asked me if I could cover it for him and I was happy to do so. Ray Jablonski won the trip in a silent auction. He came aboard this morning with his wife and friends. His wife started the day with a 26 inch beauty of a salmon about 6.5lbs! We scouted around for another 5 Salmon with Ray boating a 5 pounder. We then made a move to finish the day with some Lakers and they were ready for action! Lots of fun with another great crew on the CathyJean! The last few trips women and kids have been loving the fighting belts. I believe it really helps women and kids enjoy the fight with big fish.
