Our final open camp of the summer starts TODAY. ⚽️

Advanced Technical & Tactical Camp kicks off tonight (pray the weather behaves) and runs through Wednesday as players work on:
✅ Decision making
✅ Speed of play
✅ Possession and movement
✅ Attacking and defending principles
✅ Game-like situations

If you’re looking to sharpen your soccer IQ and prepare for the season ahead, this is your last opportunity to join us this summer.

🍂⚽ Fall 2026 Recreation Soccer Registration is NOW OPEN!

Cooler evenings, weekend games, team photos, halftime snacks, and memories that last long after the season ends.

Whether it’s your player’s first season or their tenth, there’s a place for everyone at West Florida Soccer Club. Our recreational program is open to players U4 through high school, providing a fun, positive, and developmental environment for all ages and skill levels.

While the weather didn’t cooperate with us this week, we’re grateful for the two great nights we were able to spend on the field together ⚽️🌧️

Over the course of camp, players worked on proper shooting technique, different finishing scenarios, creating space to shoot, striking the ball with power and accuracy, and building confidence in front of goal. Most importantly, they put in the work, challenged themselves, and had a lot of fun along the way.

We’re disappointed that we weren’t able to finish camp as planned and apologize for the cancellation of Day 3. Unfortunately, the weather and field conditions left us with no safe option. We know many players were looking forward to one more night of training, and we share that disappointment.

Thank you to all of our players and families for your support, flexibility, and enthusiasm throughout the week. We loved seeing the effort and positive attitudes from everyone involved.

Camp CANCELLED for tonight ❌

Unfortunately, due to weather and field conditions, we have to cancel tonight’s session! 🌧️⚠️

Tonight was our designated makeup day for the previous cancellation of our Shooting and Finishing camp, and we will not be able to schedule an additional makeup date. 😭

We want to thank all of our players and families for an incredible week. The energy, effort, and attitude the players brought each day made this camp a success. It was great to see their confidence grow and their hard work pay off throughout the week.

Thank you for your flexibility, support, and for choosing to spend part of your summer with us. We appreciate every family that participated and look forward to seeing you back on the field soon.

⚽️Next up: Advanced Technical & Tactical Camp begins next week! We’re excited to get back on the field and continue helping players grow their understanding of the game. After this week, we’re definitely hoping for a little more cooperation from the weather.

We stretched, broke down proper shooting form, worked through finishing drills, and spent the evening striking the ball with confidence.

Finishing & Shooting Camp starts tomorrow ⚽️

Every player loves scoring goals, but the best finishers know it’s about much more than just shooting.

Over the next three days, players will work on creating space, striking the ball cleanly, finishing under pressure, and building confidence in front of goal.

A lot of growth happens when players get hundreds of quality repetitions in a focused environment. Looking forward to seeing the work that gets put in this week.
