Milton Yacht Club is located in Milton, Massachusetts, and was chartered in 1902 to promote yachting sports and the study of nautical sciences. MYC has continuously served the residents of Milton and surrounding communities for over a century by providing water access to the Neponset River, Boston Harbor, and beyond. The Club believes that everyone has a right to access and enjoy the River. The Cl

ub maintains the Milton Town Landing where the public can launch a kayak, fish for stripers and smelts, or just enjoy the natural beauty of the Neponset River. The Club supports the Milton Harbormaster in maintaining the navigability of the Neponset Estuary.

Oct. 14, 2025 – The BoatUS Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water has launched two new boating safety microcourses to help boaters focus on issues important to safe navigation. Aids to Navigation Basics and Nighttime Boating Basics are the latest in a series of short microcourse offerings that help fit into any boater’s busy schedule. These courses are available at BoatUS.org/courses and are free to the public.

The BoatUS Foundation offers the only FREE online boating safety course developed specifically for your state. We also offer a wide range of advanced courses that will help you gain the knowledge to make you confident in any boating situation you encounter.
