We are taking a mini family vacation and will be out of service area from Thursday 6/18 to Sunday 6/21! We will return all emails and messages next Monday, June 22nd.

No classes tomorrow (6/18) or Friday (6/19)! We *will* have classes Saturday, 6/20 with Alyssa and Alexis covering πŸ™Œ. Enjoy your Father's Day weekend!

We had a great workshop with Dr. Rcpt Rachel Collins learning about proper stacking for our pelvic floor health! Leaking during exercise, pain with in*******se, low back pain, and constipation can all be related to pelvic floor issues. Being aware of our body positions, and learning how to properly engage (*and* lengthen/soften) our pelvic floor and deep core muscles can be so beneficial to reduce these symptoms!

It doesn't have to be your normal, even if it's common.

May PR shout-outs!

Jody Yost placed 97th WORLDWIDE in her age group in the CrossFit Semifinals! We are so proud of you, lady! Killing it πŸ’ͺ.

Eric Troup PR'd his mile! Running an unbroken mile has been a challenge between previous hip surgeries, ankle mobility, and knee health. He completed an unbroken mile this month with minimal pain (at least, I hope so πŸ˜…).

Maria H. got a one rep max deadlift personal best during a Friday open gym! We love seeing our members utilize our open gym hours and work on additional movements and goals πŸ™Œ.

Chrissy Mendel had a new PR for her 5RM gorilla rows! Those weights keep going up πŸ”₯.

Christie Will Kittle made PRs in her 5RM gorilla rows and sumo deadlifts!

Jeff G. got kipping pull-ups and then completed Murph with them! Since he doesn't have Instagram/Facebook, I'll have to bug him in person about it instead 😝.

We also had some members tackle Murph for the first time ever. Special shout-out to Jared ( Amy Foresman ), Kathy Eddy Gorton , Sarah S.E. , Heidi Eppenbach , Chrissy M., and Christie K, for completing Murph either for the first time or the first FULL Murph.

Some important dates for June!

We have our benchmark workout Mind Eraser tomorrow; we've been prepping for this one with the Tuesday and Thursday workouts for the past few weeks, and we should be recovered from Murph, so this is a good chance to send it and see if you've improved from your time last year!

On Saturday, June 6th, we have a few spaces left in our Pelvic Floor Workshop with Dr Rachel at 11:30am. Message us to sign up!

Thursday, June 18th and Friday, June 19th the gym will be *closed* for a family vacation. Saturday, June 20th classes will run with Coach Alyssa and Coach Alexis subbing in!

This month also begins our new pricing structure and our change to the Saturday 9:00am classes. Due to increasing expenses and overhead, our Saturday 9:00am class will be free for your first three visits; after that, you'll have to use a punchcard, membership, or reduced rate of $15.00 drop-in cost to attend.

We will see you in the gym!

Murph 2026 βœ….

Fourth year doing Murph as our own gym. It was a rough one today for me, personally; I wanted to quit basically the entire time. I even texted Jake not even halfway through saying I didn't know if I should stop at half or not.

I didn't. I pushed myself to get out of my head and keep going. It didn't feel good, - and doesn't after the fact either πŸ˜… - it wasn't a PR by a long shot, and I'll probably be sore for days. But I did the thing.

Just an honest reminder that everyone struggles sometimes. Mentally, emotionally, physically. Even (especially?) your coaches. Watching everyone push through Murph and cheer each other on today was inspiring. You guys make the difference between this place being just a building with some weights in it and a home.

Abby is a great example of how fitness doesn't have to be perfect to still get results. A reminder that we do not have our regular class schedule on Monday! Instead, join us at 9:00am to tackle the . We will have half, quarter, and partner options available! Any level of fitness is welcome to come.

We ask for a $10 donation for this event; *all* proceeds will be donated to the Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation.

Also, BYOS - bring your own snack or side to share for a community picnic after! We will have the portable cold plunge available to cool off as well.
