The regular season has come to the end. To say we are not disappointed some would be a lie. But we accomplished way more than we ever thought we would for our rookie campaign.

First of before anything can be said proud would be the best word to describe this family team.

The 77g was in the rookie points lead for most of the season and even in the top 10 in pts a few weeks. But after being pushed into a back up car that was built in 1.5 days it was disastrous after that. None that we saw coming. First race with new car. Motor blew. Replaced. And raced in 4days. 2nd race steering rack problems. 3rd race another steering rack that was changed at the track in the rain postponement to have the power steering pump blow the following day during make up race while running 11th. The last points race 77g won the heat and ended with an 8th place finish. Pretty solid day.
77g finished 12pts out in ROY standings and a very respectable 12th place in overall standings. More than we could have ever hoped for out of the small family team.
The 7g running part time showed speed at times and had some unfortunate luck along the way. Changing cars midway through the season and having mechanical troubles too. With a very limited budget he got way more out of what he had.
With Milk bowl coming up we will give one last time to put our sponsors in victory lane.

As the points season comes to a close at Thunder Road International Speedbowl it's been a year. First off last week we battled through more demons blowing a steering rack seal on thursday replacing in the postponed race rain.

Friday the car seemed normal and starting 2nd managed to get a heat 🏁. Considering the last 3 weeks this was awesome to see.

As the feature came starting 4th. It was not handling which was most likely the case of the power steering pump blowing up and another DNF.

We have fixed what we can and will do our best to finish the season on a high note. No matter what happens the season has been a success in our first year of Street Stocks.

Can't thank the guys for the help on both GFR cars as they have endless hours in the last month and throughout the season. Tyler Swan and Dylan Fullerton can't thank you guys enough. And our families for the time all year.

Well........ if we didn't have bad luck not sure we would have any luck at all. Last week we find out steering rack was bent. Made the best we could out of a bad day. Today going through tech we turn sharp and the seal on the steering rack blew. And it rains of course. Thanks to Dylan Fullerton for stopping to parts store to get new rack. Its all put in for the most part and races are canceled til tomorrow night. Goimg to be another hectic day but damn the Garvey boys just don't quit. Give it hell tomorrow.

We are down to 2 to go on the pts counting season. The last 3 races have been tough to say the least.
After totaling the main car. Blowing the motor in the recently built back up car. The have a sterring rack failure in the car. 3 races in 7 days was needless to say some sleepless days and tons of man hrs. That's just for the 77g. Last week we finally righted the ship on the 7g and played bumper cars destroying the front of that car. Noth cars will be in action today.

We go back at it today with hopefully a little luck on our side and will try like hell to right the ship.

Well don't know where to begin. It's been a chaotic 3 days and sorry for the lack of posts.
Thursday did not go as planned and getting shoved into a wreck totaled the main car. She has been awesome this year and it sucks. The guys built pretty much a caged car in a day and a half and we finished it at the track on Sunday. It's not pretty and we apologize to some of the sponsors that were not on the car. To Tyler Swan and Dylan Fullerton can't thank you enough for the amount of hrs on the car.

Onto Sunday. What was already an exhausting day was plagued by leaks and I'll handling and eventually a blown motor. That whatvwe were hoping for

To say that we feel defeated is an understatement. But our sponsors gave always slicked by us and we are gonna right the ship and finish what we started. We didn't think we would be in the position we are in and we are not giving up Ever. We have a lot of work to do over 2 days and going to come back strong

We are here once again at Thunder Road International Speedbowl after a week off last week from weather

Both 77g and 7g are in action tonight on the homestretch of the season. Hope to get dialed on and have some strong finishes.

Back to where it all started. We are at Airborne Park Speedway. 25 years ago Garvey Family Racing began racing Renegades in the 99G.

Races were canceled for Thunderroad and we had an opportunity to jump across the pond to try a little dirt racing. The normal 77 will be subbing in the enduro series and possibly a crown vic. As the 7g has switched out tires and trying the dirt in The Mini Stock class.

Should be an interesting night. Lolol

It was raceday once again at Thunder Road International Speedbowl . Packed house with Ryan Preece and Brad K in house.

It was great to have both GFR cars on track with the 7g sporting some new wheels.

Heat races were a little wild in the beginning and the 77g coming in 2nd and the 7g making gains.

Feature was fast and furious with one quick caution. 77g maneuvering through to come home a 2nd consecutive top 5. Thev7g had some mechanical gremlins. We will regroup and come back strong.
