Thunder for Days racing 24 Hours of Lemons Racing Team

We’re mediocre at mediocrity We might even bring a tuxedo t-shirt or two for evening socializing.

Our goal is to show up, embarass ourselves for the greater good of entertainment for everyone else, quote Harry Hogge, Cole Trickle and Rowdy Burns all weekend while fittingly dressed as if we just showed up at the Daytona 500 in 1990 and maybe even put a few laps in on the track if our car happens to start. We've never raced in an organized event but think there's a chance that we can figure out

how to control a race car. Many of our group can trace our roots back to a variety of trailer parks in the Amish country of Pennsylvania, and we've brought our not so trashy friends down to our classic, completely awesome white trash level. The car will be reminiscent of Cole Trickle's green and yellow "City Chevrolet" and we'll try not to hit everything out there like Cole, but you will find our crew chief talking to the car and eating ice cream when the driver wants to pit. Also, we like beer and we'll share.

We had a very successful weekend at NJMP. The car ran well for the entire 14.5 hours. We finished 48th of 133 overall completing 342 laps.
