Despite the large increase in women owning handguns for personal defense in New Jersey, we have the smallest number of female USCCA Defensive Pistol Instructors (7) of any state other than Hawaii (1), Guam (1) and DC (also 1). By comparison, Florida has 90!

There is a lot of data that suggests that women are more comfortable being taught their defensive pistol skills by another woman than by a man. However, this means that women need to become Instructors!

So, if you're interested in sharing your skills and experience, and teaching other women, then why not join our upcoming Defensive Pistol Instructor class at the end of November?

You'll learn the basics of presenting and using an AR-15 or similar rifle with a two-point sling, using the techniques of kinesthetic alignment and balancing speed and precision. These are great classes for those new to the platform, or with experience and wanting the nuts and bolts tightened.

Great day teaching USCCA AR-15 yesterday with Jamaal Crichlow on an excellent range in New Jersey.

Six students, ranging from brand new shooters up, shot very well and all left with experience, insight and CORE skills to work on with their AR platform rifles. Everyone was focused, and balanced Speed and Precision to obtain the defensive Accuracy the class requires.
