We will now turn from orange to green as our season is officially over. It has been an enjoyable, rewarding, and fun time since we started in 8u with a majority of our current team. Our move is strictly for further improving player development as well as to enhance our players experiences. We are extremely excited about this and held a player vote to determine who have been our 3 greatest Tribe Warriors and our biggest dawg:

1st All time Tribe Warrior- Dexter Rodenberg
Dex has made significant strides in quite a few phases since 8u. I feel the biggest stride has been his mindset. He used to become so upset with failure, but now he has learned to take things as they come. He has become resilient and will battle through all types of adversity.

2nd All time Tribe Warrior- Carson Parker
Carson was just a shy timid kid that was tough to get a read on when we started. He has quickly developed into a Stone Cold killer on the mound that can mow down anyone. The thing I think that has evolved with him most is his composure. He stays calm and never shows his hand in any situation which I love and value most!

3rd All Time Tribe Warrior- Gabe Mueth
Gabe is a guy that I have seen a ton of potential in since 8u. He is becoming that leader that I knew he could be and we are just getting started. He has also raked every year holding an all time batting average of .729 through our 3 years, WOW!! If there was a beating heart for Tribe he is it!

Tribe all time dawg-Bryce Dilbeck
Bryce is a big time competitor that will give you a solid effort wherever you put him. He has had a sure glove since 8u and a bat that is dangerous and developing. As the catcher you have got to be tough and reliable which he has proved by how his teammates ask if he’s catching them when they pitch. We have an absolute dawg back there!

I am proud of these boys and how well they have came together. The sky truly is the limit when these guys play as a TEAM! For the last time Let’s Go Tribe! Who are we?!

We are rebranding!! If you are unhappy with your current situation and want to be apart of a team with a strong core that pushes you to earn your spot every day then Xplosion 11u Dilbeck may be for you! Come see us July 13th from 5:30-7:30pm at our new home in Millstadt! Private tryouts are available on request, just contact us.

Tribe 10u kept rolling in a tight one last night! They brought out the boom sticks pounding out 14 hits to continue their winning ways and make it 2 in a row to finish the regular season! Last night we had 4 Warriors and a dawg of the game:

1st Warrior: Grayson “Phil” Phillips-
Phil has had a rough go at times at the dish. We tell him to just stay calm and fight up there. Phil had 2 great at bats which led to a solid hit, stolen base, and scoring a clutch run for us!! Great job Phil!!

2nd Warrior- Beckett “Houdini” Grider-
Houdini had a decent night getting on base, stole a base, scored a big run, but the play that had us scratching our heads was a hit to our 1st baseman which ricocheted off his glove and who does it bounce right to?! Houdini and I swear he yelled “Kobe” and gunned the runner out at 1st!! I don’t know how you do it sometimes but that’s what I love the most!! Great job Beckett!!

3rd Warrior- Stone Cold Carson Parker-
Stone cold has been pretty cold at the plate lately as he has been struggling. In his 3rd at bat he came up with us leading by a run then proceeds to rip a stand up double then advances on a bad throw and ends up scoring our badly needed insurance run!! The most impressive thing was he kept running and picked up his base coaches perfectly!!! He also came in the bottom of the inning and slammed the door on our victory! This dude does it all, great job Carson!!!

4th Warrior- Charlie “Tuna” Mueth
Charlie got down on himself last night after committing a few crucial errors. We brought him in for an inning and told him to shake it off because he is a great player and is going back in! Just be ready to redeem yourself! Then he responds by getting 2 hits, then catches a fly on the infield and threw someone out at 1st! We want tough, resilient ball players on our team that never quit and stand up in the face of adversity ready to hang and bang. Tuna proved last night he has those qualities! Great job Tuna!!!

Dawg of the game- Bryce “Bam Bam” Dilbeck-
When you have a catcher like Bryce it makes coaching easy. He is turning into something behind the plate and is going to be a player that controls the field very soon. On a night where it was near triple digits he caught 5 innings, faced 131 pitches with only 1 passed ball and never complained or even showed a hint of wanting to come out. He also added a hit, rbi, and a stolen base! Great job Bryce!! You showed dirty uniform and all that you just got that dawg in you!!!

We had our end of season pool party this week and the boys had a blast! It was great to celebrate our boys and the season they’ve had thus far. Tomorrow is our last game of the regular season and I know they’re ready to go out with a bang and blast into the playoffs!! Let’s go Tribe!!! Big news coming soon!!
