Nice surf fishing structure above the sand replenishment. Should be good for spring fishing. Southside looks good too.

Heads up gang. Trifecta Tornado, Wind and COastal flood advisories
This wind is already heavy out here. My trees are beat up enough from the blizzard. This will finish some of the leaners off. Be careful of flying debris many of the roadsides have yet to be cleared. Lot of hanging/leaning trees will come down today. I'd expect possible power outages.

Inland Sussex-Delaware Beaches-
420 AM EDT Mon Mar 16 2026
..COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
2 AM EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected
in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.

* WHERE...Inland Sussex and Delaware Beaches, mainly along
Rehoboth Bay and Little Assawoman Bay.

* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 AM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gale force southerly winds are forecast to
develop this afternoon and evening, preventing water from
draining out of Rehoboth Bay and Little Assawoman Bay at low
tide. The elevated water levels may lead to areas of minor tidal
flooding impacts, especially along the northern ends of the
bays.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory means that minor tidal flooding is
expected. Minor tidal flooding often results in some road
closures. Usually, the most vulnerable roadways will flood.

Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The
water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting
yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to
costly repairs.

Visit the National Water Prediction Service at
https://water.noaa.gov/wfo/phi for additional water level and
flood impact information for your local tide gauge.

Beached a great white shark. Crying on the internet they were turned in for it.
If you are going to brag online about your catches make sure they are legal.
If you are trying to be an "influencer" maybe be one that does it the right way.
Also bragging about catching a protected species on the internet is galactically stupid.

New rules for striped bass in Maryland. Make sure you know the limits when you fish.

đź“°Maryland Set to Adopt Changes to Chesapeake Bay Recreational Striped Bass Season

New rules simplify season structure, increase access, and maintain conservation protection

The 2026 recreational striped bass season in the Chesapeake Bay will be:

January 1–April 30: Catch and Release

May 1–July 31: Harvest

August 1–31: Closed

September 1–December 5: Harvest

December 6–31: Catch and Release

DNR is implementing the seasonal shift to enable anglers to catch-and-release striped bass in April when water temperatures are cooler, while closing the month of August for striped bass fishing when hot water temperatures make striped bass more likely to be accidentally killed by hook-and-line fishermen—known as recreational dead discards—while fishing them.
