I had a chance last night to sit and enjoy the evening on my favorite site "The Rock Pile" This guy came in around 6:30 and stayed for half an hour. It's amazing just how quiet they are. He did his walk-by first all the while looking at the stand just, to see if i would move. Lol

With week 2 are in the books. We have had a good run this year with 8 bear taken from 11 hunters. And over 30 bear sights for the 2 weeks. Some great experiences for the crews and some interesting bear encounters after dark.
This will be my last season guiding bear hunts from Spencer Cove Outfitters. Maine Whitetail Adventures will be taking over from here and offering some of the best hunting in the Katahdin Region. Jayson is an experienced bear hunter who does a great job and I know it's in good hands. I wanted someone who will carry on and offer great hunts and grow the business to new levels. With that being said I would like to THANK everyone who has hunted with us over the years. It's been a great ride for me and I have met some amazing people. Some who have become lifelong friends and for that I'm forever grateful. On to more FISHING.......

Kim with a nice bear from Tuesday night. This makes #4 so far with 23 sightings over two nights. Wednesday was a wash with rain and wind most of the day. Not even a sighting!

A few nice Bear taken so far. The weather hasn't been the best with hot, humid nights but, Josh, Jay, and Mike got it done! Congrats guys!
