Penns Valley Pedals & Pints Bike Club Enjoy beautiful Penns Valley scenery w/a non-competitive riding group, contribute to local charities Riders are welcome to go further, faster, shorter, slower.

We're a not so serious group of riders welcoming all ages (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult) and all bikes - road bikes to fat tire bikes to electric bikes, helmets required. This is a very flexible, non-competitive riding group that registers 60 to 100 riders each Thursday. We try to take a different route each week ranging from 15-20 miles. We also have a support vehicle along the route

in case of break downs. Join us at Elk Creek Cafe's Creekside after we finish to celebrate the ride. We'll meet between 5:15pm and 6pm Thursday evenings (mid-May to mid-September) in the gravel parking lot beside the Millheim Fire Company @ 103 North Street (turn north at the light in Millheim). Everyone must sign in (waiver must be signed once a season) and we request a $3 donation per ride (proceeds go to charity at the end of the season). If we need to cancel due to weather, we'll notify the public on our website and via email and social media. Donations are currently distributed to the Penns Valley Hope Fund, PVCA, Millheim Pool, East Penns Valley Library, Harvest Fields, Penns Valley Ambulatory and the Millheim Fire Co. are on the list (subject to change).

END OF YEAR RIDE + OKTOBERFEST! We’ll leave at 10am for an approximately 30-mile ride, returning in time for cheers and 🍻 benefitting the Millheim Fire Co, who graciously give us access to their grounds and pavilion all season long. Save the date for October 26th. 🚴🏼

Join us at Living In One Neighborhood (LION) Bash, a community resource fair and block party, downtown State College on Thursday, September 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. This free event will be held on the 100-300 blocks of South Allen Street and is for everyone in the community!

🍦 Ice Cream Ride! 🍦

Thursday is the sweetest day of the summer! This week is the Ice Cream ride. We'll stop at Olde Village Mercantile Co. for cones, cups and shakes, and look around this amazing little gem of a shop right here in Penns Valley.

Also, this Saturday is Crickfest @ Coburn Park! The event begins with the Tunnel Trot - a 5/10K walk/run along beautiful Penns Creek to the Coburn Tunnel. The run/walk is followed by a full day of fun - including music, sweets, plant sale, kids activities and more. They are also looking for Volunteers - hit up their website for details.
