The next phase of Park revitalization includes a five-lane Olympic short course swimming pool with an extended shallow end and a pool house with showers, locker rooms, offices and a community room with a commercial kitchen. Construction starts in spring 2025.
As we look toward the future, it's hard not to think back on the moments that have shaped us. The laughter, the challenges, the joy, and the simple moments of pure happiness that once felt fleeting are now cherished memories. Each step we take toward our goals is built on the foundation of all we’ve lived through, learned from, and experienced. It’s amazing how we often don’t realize the value of a moment until time has passed, but as Dr. Seuss so beautifully put it, sometimes it’s only in looking back that we truly see its worth.
The past is never really gone. It lives on in the lessons we carry, the dreams we continue to chase, and the memories we hold dear. Every setback, every success, and every laughter-filled evening was part of a story that brought us to this point. So, let’s reflect, take inspiration from those moments, and embrace the lessons learned because nothing is ever truly lost to us.
We’d love to gather a collection of memories from everyone who spent time there. Whether it’s from many years ago or just before the Phase I construction began, we’d love to see those photos that capture the fun, the laughter, and the moments that made our park so special.
