Tomorrow night, we kick off our season in the Johnson Gym, and we need the stands PACKED! 💪🏻

🏐 MILLERSBURG LADY INDIANS TAKE 1ST IN SILVER! 🥇🏐

What. A. DAY. 👏🏼🔥

The Millersburg Lady Indians competed HARD at the Pine Grove Tournament, battling through nearly 12 HOURS of volleyball to finish the day as 1st Place in the Silver Bracket! 🥇💪🏼

This team was tested in every way today... physically, mentally, and emotionally. Yet they continued to fight. They worked through adversity, picked each other up, stayed together, and never stopped competing. THAT is what I’m most proud of. ❤️💛

We still have plenty to clean up (because you know I’m never going to let them settle 😉), but the potential this group has is SO exciting.

The future is BRIGHT in Millersburg. ✨

If today was any indication of what this season is going to look like…

🏐✨ I cannot WAIT to show y’all a peek at what Ralph, Austin & I captured last night with the Millersburg Girls Volleyball team! 😍🔥

These girls absolutely understood the assignment! 🙌 Between the energy, personalities, and some seriously 🔥 shots, this Media Day was SO much fun to create.

Just like that, summer training is done. Look out for a highlight video next week of a glimpse at what was accomplished this past summer.

In the meantime, thanks again to Millersburg Girls Volleyball for giving me the opportunity to train and educate the team this past week.

We were able to learn:

A. a proper warm up
1. Stretch/Mobility
2. Dynamic effort
3. Maximum power output

B. the difference between an anaerobic and aerobic day of conditioning.

C. some new games that encourage movement, teamwork, and cardio

D. that dialing in your focus, even during a warmup, can completely change the way a drill feels

E. Exercise and conditioning can be enjoyable, maybe even fun, and doesn’t have to feel like punishment to be effective.
