Last night, the 12-year-old members of the Millersburg Maroon and Gold team played their final whiffle ball game together, concluding the event with pizza and ice cream.
Your Millersburg Little League Board would like to recognize the following 9 12 year old players:
Gannon Bergey: Gannon is the son of Preston and Bridget Bergey. Gannon has been playing for the Millersburg Indians for 2 seasons. Gannon said his greatest accomplishment was being selected for the 2025 Millersburg All-Star Summer League. When asked what was his favorite memory from Little League he said, picture this, We were playing against Halifax. I was in the outfield, bases were loaded, we had 2 outs. Batter hits a pop fly to me and I caught it for the final out of the game! Afterward Roman Bellis picks me up and we spin in circles!
Hunter Enders: Hunter is the son of Stacey Rickert and William Kerr. Hunter has been playing baseball for Millersburg Indians for 3 seasons, both spring and fall. Hunter said his greatest accomplishments were being a part of the Millersburg Minor team who won both Richie Hoke and Halifax Tournament in the same year and taking 2nd place in the E-ville Majors Tournament this season. When asked his favorite Little League memory, Hunter had a few: FaceTiming with Coach Brandon during the Halifax Tournament, Coach Dave’s excitement, and dancing with Arden Mongold in the outfield.
Xander Glosek: Xander is the son of Jamie Werner and Lance Wagner. Xander has been playing baseball for 6 years, starting his career as a Kulpmont Couger for 2 seasons. He continued playing one season in New Cumberland. And for the past 3 seasons has enjoyed his time as a Millersburg Indian! Xander said his greatest accomplishment was hitting a homerun in the Elizabethville Major Tournament this year! His favorite Little League memory was coming in 2nd place and earning a metal at the 2026 E-ville Majors Tournament.
Chance Murphy: Chance is the son of Alicia and Dave Murphy. Chance has proudly worn the number 28 in honor of his mother. It is a number tied to courage, heart, survival, and the will to fight through anything! Chance has played for 5 seasons at Milllersburg, both spring and fall. Some of Chance's greatest accomplishments are being a two-time All-Star Nominee, winning 2 Richie Hoke Tournament Championships (both undefeated), winning 2025 Halifax Icebreaker Championship, and helping his team to a 2nd place finish in the 2026 E-ville Majors Tournament, fighting their way out of the loser’s bracket. When asked what his favorite memory from Little League, he said it was getting his first hit at Gratz during a snow squall and freezing his butt off a little.

Jack Petery: Jack is the son of Eric and Kelly Petery. Jack has been playing baseball for the Millersburg Indians for 5 seasons. Jack’s accomplishments include playing on the Championship team for the 2024 Halifax Ice Breaker Tournament and 2024 Richie Hoke Tournament! When asked his favorite memories from little league, he said playing on Millersburg Majors Maroon with a record of 17-2-1, and all the time spent with friends.
Sebastian Snyder: Sebastian is the son of Brock and Kristen Snyder. Seb has been playing baseball since he was 5 years old for the Millersburg Indians and has not missed a season apart from Covid year. Sebastian said his greatest accomplishments are being selected for multiple District All-Star teams to include this years’ 2026 12U District Team and being selected to play on the 2025 Millersburg All Star Summer League. He said his favorite memory from Little League was winning the Rebuck Tournament in 2025!
Conner Stansfield: Conner is the son of Joshua and Corin Stansfield. Conner has been playing baseball for the Millersburg Indians for 3 seasons. Conner said his greatest achievement was being selected to play in 2025 Millersburg All Star Summer League and being selected for the 2026 12U District Team. He said his favorite memory of this Little League career was playing in the Middletown 50-70 tournament in taking 2nd place!
Cohen Stockdale: Cohen is the son of Curt and Tessa Stockdale. Cohen has been playing since he was 5 years old for the Millersburg Indians and has loved the game ever since. Cohen said his accomplishments include his reputation as a reliable teammate, his strong work ethic, and his dedication to growing his skill set and confidence. He was selected to play on the UDC All-Star team for multiple seasons and in multiple tournaments. When asked his favorite memory of Little League, Cohen said it was the Ritchie Hoke Tournament when his team battled through the loser’s bracket in 6 incredible games to win the Championship! He said he looks forward to building on his experiences and love for baseball in the years ahead.
Zander Wright: Zander is the son of Aaron and Keri Wright and the brother to Khloe Wright. Zander has been playing baseball for the Millersburg Indians for 7 seasons, both spring and fall. Zander’s accomplishments include selection to the 8U All-Star Team, 9U All Star Team, 10U All Star Team, 2025 Millersburg All Star Summer League, and 2026 12U District Team. He was also part of the 2021 Richie Hoke Millersburg Maroon Tournament Championship team, 2023 Subway Player of the Game in the Richie Hoke Tournament, and part of the back to back 2024-2025 Rebuck Tournament Championship teams. When asked his favorite memory from little league, Zander said it was hitting a walk off double to win the 9U All Stars Championship game and all the friends he’s made along the way.
