MP Girls Varsity Lacrosse

Thanks to this amazing community, we have sold 110 wristbands for our Kindergarten through 12th grade players in just 24 hours. We are 140 away from our goal of selling 250 total. Every purchase help! All information is below:

As you may know, National Girls and Women in Sports Day is on February 3rd. We have come up with a unique and meaningful way for our community to commemorate this day and sponsor the, approximately, 250 girls (grades k-12) we have playing lacrosse in Miller Place.

For $5 you can purchase a silicone wristband that will be given to a player in our program between kindergarten and 12th grade. These red wristbands are embossed with the words, "She believed she could, so she did."

If you would like to take part in this and purchase wristbands for us to distribute to the girls throughout the coming season you can use the order form found here (there is no limit of the amount of bands you'd like to purchase):

A few points of information:
Please keep in mind, you are not purchasing a wristband for yourself or for any single athlete. Your purchase is a donation to the girls in our program and will serve as a visible reminder of the support they all have from our community.

A portion of all of the proceeds will go to two worthwhile causes:
The funding the Vin Altebrando Memorial Scholarship and our program will make a donation to the "Women's Sports Foundation"
Our plan is to take a picture of all of our kids throughout the entire program wearing the wristbands at one of this year's events (Vin's Night, Senior Game, End of the year Youth Party).

"Sponsor a Player" - In the entry form you will be asked to choose a player from our team that your entries will be credited to. The players with the most and second most sponsorships will receive Amazon gift cards from the program.

The Miller Place Youth Girls Lacrosse program is running a Superbowl Box fundraiser this year. All proceeds (minus the payouts to the four winners) will go directly towards the "Vin Altebrando Memorial Scholarship" Fund.

POOL FORMAT
This is a 'Square Pool', the 10 by 10 grid type of pool where you select a square or squares until the grid is full. When the pool is closed, random numbers will be generated by the website to fill the row and column headers. The row and column header for your square represent your numbers.
GAME
This pool will be based on this year's Superbowl
NUMBERS
Upon closing the pool, random numbers will be generated by the website to fill the row and column headers of the grid. Your numbers are those represented by the row and column of your square(s).
MAXIMUM SQUARES
You may pick up to 10 squares.
WINNERS
Winning this pool is determined by the last digit in the score of both teams. If the score is 17-10 (AFC-NFC) then the person with 7 for the AFC team and 0 for the NFC team wins. Similarly, the same person would win if the score were 7-20, 27-30, 17-0, etc.
