A 45-minute road trip, heavy heat and humidity, a short bench, and an Otsego side that made every challenge physical from the opening whistle.
The boys absorbed the contact, stayed composed and answered with a true next-man-up mentality. Every player stepped into his role and played for the group.
The result was a gritty 6–0 road win, but the bigger takeaway was how this team handled the physical test.
Special recognition goes to Ben Blankenship and Owen Skidmore, who both raised their level with energy, composure and grit. They stood their ground, stayed engaged and never backed away from the ball.
Damian Chavez deserves recognition as well after taking a hard collision that forced him out of the match. His mental and physical toughness have continued to grow, and the way he handled that moment drew an immediate response from his teammates.
This group is getting tougher, tighter and harder to break every time they step on the field.
