I haven’t posted a lot this season. This chapter in our lives is drawing to a close as most of the team will be entering high school next year. When Coach Eric and I picked up the whistle a half dozen years ago, we had no idea how special this group of young ladies would end up being. Some of them have been on this squad for over 40% of their lives! Winning seasons, losing seasons (mostly winning😉), indoor, outdoor, sand, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11, league play, tournaments - all the beautiful game. I pray the girls have learned a little bit of soccer and more importantly, a little bit about life. It’s ok to lose a game, but never ok to have a losing attitude. It’s ok to dominate an opponent, but be humble in victory. Be proud of your team and what you’ve accomplished together, because you’d never be able to get as far alone. It’s been an absolute joy working with your kids. Thank you for trusting us to coach them - what ever they do, we’ll be rooting for them! We’re so excited to see how far they’ll go! 💚⚽️👊🏼
