17 Springs Signal to Begin Flash Mode

ALDOT will place the newly install signal heads into a flashing mode beginning Tuesday August 18th. The signals will remain in flash mode until full activation on Tuesday August 25th 🚦

The new traffic signal on SR-14 at the 17 Springs entrance will begin flashing Tuesday, Aug. 18 for seven days.

Crews will begin striping Sunday evening, Aug. 16.

ALDOT Begins Traffic Light Install 🚦

ALDOT will be working during the week of August 10th to begin installing traffic signal heads at the intersection of AL 14 and 17 Springs Boulevard. The signals will be installed and covered until they are placed in a flashing mode the week of August 17th. ALDOT plans to fully activate the signal on Tuesday August 25th. The 17 Springs Cooperative members appreciate ALDOT’s work to put these safety improvements in place. 🚦

Temporary Road Closure of Fieldhouse Way

Beginning Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m., July 15th, the entrance to 17 Springs from AL Highway 14 onto Fieldhouse Way will be temporarily closed until Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. July 17th.

All traffic planning to access 17 Springs from AL Highway 14 should utilize the intersection at 17 Springs Blvd (near Baumhower’s Victory Grille).
