30mm internal width with a hookless design, wide upper legs and reinforced spoke holes. Built around the tires mountain bikes are actually running now.

WHY 28MM?

Because gravel tires got wider. Most gravel rims didn’t.

CGR i28 was designed around the 50–54mm tires we’re actually riding now.

28mm internal gives wide gravel tires the support they need at low pressure without flattening their profile, so they roll fast, corner predictably and grip the way they were designed to.
