A flashback to the good old days!
I've had a lot of people tell me over the years I have one of the best offices you could ask for. I won't argue that, but it was a little less appealing this morning with the steady downpour, a bilge pump working overtime, and temperatures in the low 40s.
That being said, it did remind me of the good old days when many times I would be the only truck in the parking lot.
Don't get to see that anymore.
Glad I got to go with One of my favorite clients, that I get to take out several times a year. It's more like fishing with a friend.
And the spotted bass and largemouth did not mind The rain or temperatures.

Thought I'd put up a quick post and say another thank you to everyone that reached out since the storm. Sorry, I don't do a lot of Facebook stuff.
This screenshot is of a text I got from some folks I had on the schedule for October, but for obvious reasons had to cancel the trip.
And so what do they do, they offer to pay for the trip anyway. (No I didn't accept)
Just one of MANY examples of the fine folks I've got to meet guiding through the years. It's amazing all the good that has shown itself through this event.
I'll try to get the rest of the pics up from the past few months of fishing.
Don't look like there'll be any fishing trips on Lake Lure and the Green River for a while so might as well live in the past for a little bit.

Just wanted to send a quick word out to everyone.
Thanks so much to all y'all who have checked on us from all over the country.
We are good, it's unreal to see the damage in person around here. We are helping folks out as much as we can.
It amazes me the people that I get to meet, sometimes for just 4 hours, and they remain pretty much lifelong friends. A part of guiding. I never even considered.
Thanks again for everyone that's checking on us, getting any kind of cell phone or Internet service is quite a chore.
Y'all are the best.
