RACE RECAP 07-24-2026
What a night!
We came into hot laps trying to figure out the car after putting on a new set of tires and experimenting with different sizes. We got a little sideways in Turn 1, but were able to save it before a caution came out.
We started 10th in our heat race and finished 8th, which put us 4th in the B-Main. Originally, 14 cars were scheduled to start the B-Main with the top 6 transferring to the A-Main. As it turned out, only six cars came to the track, so all six of us advanced to the A-Main.
That put us starting 22nd in the A-Main, and after a hard-fought race, we brought it home in 13th! Finishing 13th out of the 31 cars that originally signed in for the night is something we're really proud of. We haven't had many hours put in the car, (this car is far from fancy) so being able to go out and compete with some great drivers felt amazing.
We were also incredibly grateful for the warm welcome back from everyone at the track. It meant a lot to see so many familiar faces and feel the support.
A huge thank you to Gaige Wilson for hauling us tonight and to Anthony Potter for lending a hand with the car setup. We couldn't do it without you guys.
As of now, we don't plan on being back on the track again this season, but we're already looking forward to seeing everyone next year.
