WV Leviathans vs. Tri-County Rams
If you're a fan of defensive football, this game was an absolute treat.
The WV Leviathans and Tri-County Rams put together one of the most physical games of the season. While the scoreboard may not show it, there was no shortage of action.
The afternoon was filled with booming hits, momentum swings, turnovers, penalties, and constant battles for field position. Every possession felt important because both defenses refused to give an inch. It was old-school football where one mistake could decide the outcome.
And that's exactly what happened.
Despite all of the excitement, the only points of the game came off the foot of the Leviathans' kicker. A lone field goal was enough to separate the two teams, as both defenses slammed the door for the remainder of the contest after double overtime.
The Rams once again proved they're capable of taking anyone to the limit. Their record may not reflect it, but they've consistently made life difficult for some of the Midwest's best teams.
As for the Leviathans, they'll gladly take the win, but they also got a firsthand look at just how dangerous Tri-County can be. Leviathans will move on in the playoffs.
