ABOUT:

West Virginia Leviathan Football is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Adult Amateur Football Team registered with the state of West Virginia and is based out of Buckhannon, West Virginia.

The WV Leviathan is a 11-Man Adult Tackle Football Team that is entering its first season in the summer of 2023 and is a member of the Tri-Point Football League (TPFL). This level of football is made up of a range of former High School football players, College football players, and even former or current Professional Football Free Agents. The Leviathan provides an avenue for anyone wishing to stay involved with the game of football, whether you’re a fan, player, coach, volunteer, or sponsor.

🚨FINAL SCORE🚨

The West Virginia Leviathan won their week 2 Premier Amateur Football League game yesterday 56-0 against the Warren Pirates! The game was called at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The Leviathan players and staff want to thank the Warren Pirates for a respectful and professional game. This win puts the Leviathan at 3-0 nationally and 2-0 in league play. As well as outscoring opponents 155-0 to this point.

The Leviathan will be preparing for week 3 of the PAFL season which the Leviathan will face off against the Washington Goldenhawks from the TriPoint Football League in a crossover game. The Leviathan will be traveling to the Goldenhawks at the Highlands Sports Complex in Triadelphia, WV.

The Leviathan are looking to carry this momentum into the upcoming week, but understand that this game will be a hard fought one from start to finish.

Let’s keep things rolling and show the work we have been putting in this season!

The West Virginia Leviathan would like the City of Philippi, WV for allowing us to participate in the Blue and Gray Parade.

Only a few of our guys were available but we had a great time interacting with the community and going through the parade.

The West Virginia Leviathan Football Team will be donating all proceeds from our concessions on 5/30/2026.

This donation will be to Philip Barbour High Schools football program which is the local high school in Philippi, WV

Our game will be at Battlers K**b, Formerly Alderson Broaddus College with a 4:00 PM Kickoff time.

🚨GAME WEEK (HOME)🚨

The West Virginia Leviathan Football Team is excited to announce that it is officially WEEK 2 of the Premier Amateur Football League 2026 season!

The West Virginia Leviathan will be facing off against the Warren Pirates as the official week 2 game of the PAFL regular season.

The Warren Pirates are coming off a forfeit due to field complications week 1. So they will be coming in fresh and ready to roll. However, they have not had a pre-season or a regular season game. Will they come out hot or will they be rusty?

The Leviathan are coming off a big 55-0 win against the PA Dawgs, as well as a 44-0 win the week before. Will they keep the trend rolling this week?

Who will come more prepared for the game? Who’s going to come out on top?

The West Virginia Leviathan won their week 1 PAFL game yesterday 55-0 against the PA Dawgs!

The Leviathan players and staff want to thank the PA Dawgs for a respectful and professional game. This win puts the Leviathan at 2-0 nationally and 1-0 in league play.

The Leviathan will be preparing for week 2 of the PAFL season which the Leviathan will face off against the Warren Pirates. The Pirates will be traveling to the Leviathan after having the weekend off due to unfortunate circumstances.

The Leviathan are looking to continue developing and working as we look to continue momentum into the upcoming week.

We will also be back on track for our schedule! This coming weekend will have our regularly planned DJ, announcer, concessions, etc! Things were different due to last minute changes but the atmosphere will be back on track!
