History is coming back to the South Bank. 🌊🏁

Long before today’s inboard hydroplanes, Indian Lake was already making waves. In 1953, thousands gathered along the shoreline to watch outboard hydroplane races during the Indian Lake Sesquicentennial celebration.

This August, that racing spirit returns.

The inaugural Sandy Beach Hydro Regatta is coming to Indian Lake August 22–23, bringing APBA inboard hydroplane racing back to the same waters where generations of race fans once gathered.

Expect speed. Spray. History. And a whole lot of lake energy.
