👏 THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO DVYSL! ⚾🥎
As we prepare for the next chapter of DVYSL, we want to take a moment to recognize three people who have given a tremendous amount of their time and energy to our league over the past several years.
Katie Hamilton, Shannon Hazard, and Jon Stierle have each played an important role on the DVYSL Board and have contributed countless hours behind the scenes to help make our baseball and softball programs possible.
Youth sports don’t happen without volunteers. Board service means meetings, planning, emails, phone calls, long days at the fields, solving problems that most people never see, and doing whatever needs to be done for our players and families.
We recently had the opportunity to present Katie, Shannon, and Jon with plaques as a small token of our appreciation for everything they’ve contributed to DVYSL.
The plaques may be a small gesture, but our appreciation is much bigger.
