Milford Wasson Babe Ruth Baseball Offering Babe Ruth baseball for 13 - 18 year olds in the City of Milford History:
The association itself is called the Daniel S.

Wasson Baseball League, formally called the Milford Senior Little League and Milford Senior League. The Name was changed to honor the memory of a former player in the league, Milford Police Officer Daniel S. Wasson, who was killed in the line of duty in 1987. Teams consist of

* 13 year old division
* 15 and under division
* 18 and under division

The 13 Under and 15 Under teams are pa

rt of Babe Ruth District 3 and the 18 and under teams are part of Senior Babe Ruth which is part of the Housatonic Valley District 3. Milford's talent level has made it possible through the years for various tournament teams to progress to the states, regionals and some to the World Series. We are proud of our players and coaches. In 2006 Milford Babe Ruth began to offer Babe Ruth Softball. We are entering our seventh year of competition. Congratulations to John Laychak from the Papa's Pizza Navy 16U team on his Complete Game, 1 Hit, Shutout on Sunday against the New Haven Grays. John had a perfect game thru 6 and 1/3 innings, before the Grays popped a short fly into right field which dropped in for a single. Navy 16U went on to win the game 3-0 to improve their overall record to 2-1.
