The RIDE Academy Started in 1978 and was originally named the Share A Horse Club by my Grandmother, As an alternative to the typical show up and ride an already saddled horse type lessons. She started it after noticing the abundance of children sitting on her fence longingly watching her work with her horses. By having the students all ages and levels learn from the ground up how to properly groom

, tack up, ride, and care for their own dedicated horse. Giving them the interaction that makes horse ownership educational and fun! My Mother grew up helping out with the club and eventually taking over when it became too much for my Grandmother to continue doing. Now that I'm old enuff to handle more responsibility I plan to continue my Grandmothers legacy though it may not be under the original name I plan to carry her love of horses and children into the future where I hope to see you there
