Major Trevor Monfette Memorial Golf Outing Please consider golfing or making a donation to help keep Trevor's memory and military service alive Trevor loved to quote with a smile, “Freedom isn’t Free.”

Trevor grew up in the Walled Lake area and graduated from WL Western in 2002. After his Western Michigan University graduation, he attended the USMC Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA. After completing his aviation training in Pensacola, FL he was stationed in San Diego with the VMM-163 Ridge Runners Squadron. He completed two deployments (with his golf clubs) to the middle east and flew the

CH46 (Frogg) & MV22 (Osprey). In 2015, he was assigned to HMX1, the Presidential Squadron and flew for two administrations. He had begun his civilian career as a Delta pilot just as Covid hit in 2020. As an active Marine again in Washington, DC he was working for the DIA when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. Leaving his wife and two young children was his hardest assignment as he went to his heavenly home on October 8, 2021. We want to keep his memory and military service alive through this golf outing. As his headstone reads, “Once Met, Never Forgotten.” Please consider golfing or making a donation.

Because of your generosity and participation, this memorial outing has raised more than $56,000 in support of veterans and their families — a truly remarkable testament to the strength of this community and the lasting impact of Trevor’s life.
