Due to weather tryouts are moved indoors Sunday!
Tryouts will be held at Milligans Landing, 5 Gilman Falls Ave Old Town.

4:30 to 5:30 Junior Legion
5:30 to 6:30 Senior Legion

Must bring a second pair of shoes to change into or you won’t be able to tryout.

If you are unable to make tomorrow, makeup tryout is June 1st at 7pm Old Town High school.

Due to increased interest and our desire to provide a fair opportunity for all players, we will be holding an official tryout for our American Legion Baseball program. Interest has grown following our recent social media outreach, along with the cancellation of our original tryout due to weather.

This tryout will allow every player the opportunity to be evaluated by the coaching staff of both the Junior and Senior Legion teams. Our goal is to place players on the roster that best suits their skill level while forming two competitive teams for the summer season. The tryout may result in cuts, at which time your player would be released to tryout for other legion teams if they desire.

Tryout Details:
Date: Sunday, May 25th
Junior Legion: 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Senior Legion: 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Location: Old Town High School 203 Stillwater Ave, Old Town, ME 04468
What to Bring/Wear: Players should arrive on time, dressed in baseball pants, and be ready to begin promptly.
Junior Legion Parent Meeting: 4:45 PM (prior to tryouts)

Makeup Tryout Date:
Sunday, June 1st at 7:00 PM
At the conclusion of tryouts, teams will be selected.

For those who have not yet paid, the $250 registration fee will be due at that time to ensure uniforms and equipment can be ordered promptly.

Season Information:
Senior Legion Regular Season: June 23 – July 16
Senior Legion Tournament Play: Begins the week of July 21
Junior Legion Regular Season: Still being finalized
Junior Legion Tournament Play: Begins the week of July 28

More details regarding tournament structure and scheduling will be shared as they become available.

Due to impending rain, we are canceling our scheduled tryout on Saturday, May 18th. To ensure everyone who wants to participate has the opportunity we ask that you fill out he google form that is linked below.

📣 Registration is Now Open for the 2025 Legion Baseball Season!

We’re thrilled to kick off another exciting year of Legion Baseball! ⚾️

Our Senior Legion Team will be led by Coach Dave Brawn and Coach Shaun Tidwell this season. We’re currently looking for a qualified coach to lead our Junior Legion Team — if you or someone you know is interested, please reach out!

Due to growing interest, we’re planning to field multiple teams at each level this year.
