Congrats to Brayden Boccia on scoring the most Pins on the team this year, winning him Coach Pinto’s Pin-to-Win Award! Pins, or “Falls”, not only instantly win you a match, they also score the most team points, helping the team win Dual Meets, and place higher in Tournaments. Brayden’s ability to hunt for the fall was a major factor in our team’s State Championship run and led Brayden to his first D2 State Title! Congrats to Derek Marcolini on collecting the most takedowns this season, winning him the coveted Coach Jake’s Takes award! Shooters shoot, and Derek shot and scored the most takedowns this season - he ended the season with 112 takedowns. Derek’s high pace and relentless offense led him to an All-State title this year.
