What are the registration fees for 2025-2026?
U6 and U8: Registration fee is $95 and the uniform shirt is included
U10-U15: Registration fee is $110. **The navy/gold striped uniform shirt is NOT included. If your child does not have a navy and gold uniform shirt, or it no longer fits, the shirt can be ordered through the registration and then purchased at the start of the season for an estimated cost of $25.00.
Does DVYSC offer any discounts?
The 3rd child is free when registering multiple children.
Does DVYSC offer a refund?
There are no refunds once registration closes on January 31st. Refunds prior to January 31st will be less any fees.
Is there a late fee?
After the date advertised for registration closes there will be a $35 late fee.
How old do you have to be to play?
We take players starting at 4 years old through 14 years old (must be in middle school; not high school)
What are the age breakdowns for the Fall 2025 through Spring 2026 season?
** Please note, as per our insurance with NJYS all players are grouped by birth year, NOT grade level. Fall 2026 players will be grouped by grade level.
U6 Birth Year 2020/2021/2022 **Spring 2026 season- player must be 4 by April 1, 2026
U8 Birth Year 2018/2019
U10 Birth Year 2016/2017
U12 Birth Year 2014/2015
U15 Birth Year 2011 (no high school players) 2012/2013
**Important Wait List Information**
All divisions have an allotted amount of players for registration. When registration reaches the allotted amount, players will be put on a wait list until we receive more volunteer coaches to field another team. Once we have enough coaches for a team, we will email you an invoice to pay and remove your player from the wait list. Wait list is first come first serve.
When are practices and games?
*All practices are determined by the coach once teams are assigned. If you have prior commitments assigned to a certain day of the week, we advise you to hold off on registering as we cannot accommodate everyone’s schedule.
- U6 will be clinic style for 45 minutes for approximately 8 weeks on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am.
- U8 Practices are one time a week and will be set by the coaches at the coaches meeting. Games are typically scheduled for Saturday mornings at 10:00. **Times are subject to change after registration closes.
- U10, U12, & U15 Practices will be twice a week. Games are typically scheduled for 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm or 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoons **Times are subject to change after registration closes.
Where are practices/games held?
All divisions will be at Kingwood Park for the Spring 2026 Season.
When does the Spring Season Start?
Spring practices can start the end of March/beginning of April, weather permitting.
Can I request my child to be on a certain team?
No. DVYSC does not accommodate coach, friend, or car pool requests when making teams. We attempt to balance teams as much as possible to ensure competitive teams and balanced competition.
Do you keep your uniform shirt and what else do I need to purchase for my uniform?
- Shirt- Yes, you purchased the shirt. You can also reuse the same uniform shirt of navy/gold vertical stripes for additional seasons for U10 and above.
- Shorts - You will need to purchase your own shorts. We recommend black for U6/U8 and navy for U10 and above.
- Soccer socks - You will need to purchase your own socks. We recommend black for U8 and navy for U10 and above.
- Shin Guards are MANDATORY for all divisions.
- Cleats- Soccer cleats for all divisions. U6 can wear sneakers.
