Today has been a sad reminder that living in a free country does not come without casualties and loss. The situation in Kabul is still far from over and we are praying for the safety of our men and women who are still there trying to complete their mission. Our thoughts and prayers go out tonight to the families and loved ones of the U.S. service members who lost their lives today. Our thoughts are also with the Afghan civilians including children who lost their lives today. That is a life that we just cannot even begin to imagine given the opportunities we are afforded living in the United States. To our service members who perished, your service will never be forgotten. May you rest in eternal peace.
