Camp 21 offers two local tours in the Miles City area. Both tours are narrated by one of Camp 21's extremely knowledgeable guides. Transportation is on Camp 21's comfortable 25-passenger bus.

"Valley Tour"
The Valley Tour explores the land surrounding and encompassing Custer's famous Camp 21 of June 15th, 1876. This interesting tour focuses on the rich, diverse history of eastern Montana, including the notorious General George A. Custer. You will gain many new insights regarding the history of the significant Camp 21: including that of the horse, Native American Plains tribes and the US military of the 1870's.

At Camp 21, it is our goal to honor the horse, and all it has done for the development of our nation. Of all the domestic animals, the horse has had the most profound influence on the history of humans. Nowhere is this crucial impact more noticeable than in eastern Montana.

Tour Information
• The Valley Tour is suitable for ages 4 and up
• Tours are conducted on Saturdays from the first weekend of June through Labor Day
• Tours leave at 6:30 PM from the parking lot of the Miles City Hotel & Suites located at 1720 S. Haynes Avenue (at I-94)
• Reservations
• Payment may be by cash, check or credit card – at time of departure
• Cost is $14.95 per person
• Walk-ons are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, provided seats are available
• No handicapped accommodations are available
• Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more
• Management reserves the right to change or cancel tours due to inclement weather or technical difficulties
• Arrangements may be made to have Camp 21 tour guides narrate a step-on tour from your motor-coach

The These Old Homes Tour explores the architectural history of Miles City, famous cow town of the west. While riding in our comfortable Camp 21 bus, you will be treated to engaging stories about many of the houses of Miles City, and the people who lived in them – and helped to shape not only Miles City, but Montana and the Old West.

Several people wrote and mentioned how hard (impossible) it was to read the history of the Tusler House. Hence, I reversed the ration of house to signage. It is now easy to read some of the fascinating history of this house. The house is currently undergoing extensive work that modernizes it, and preserves its rich heritage. Some exciting Tusler House opportunities are just ahead - so come back soon so you don't miss anything!
