We arrived in Palau on April 16th, and I gotta say, it’s one of my favorite spots in the world—especially the incredible diving! We’re staying at the Palau Royal Resort, which has such beautiful grounds. Our first day of diving was amazing, and one of the dive sites we visited was Chandelier Cave. Stay tuned for lots more underwater pictures to come!

Michigan Adventure Diving Journal – April 15, 2026. Our second day in Taipei, and we’re really starting to get the hang of the train system! Now that we’re confident with it, we headed over to explore. The Taipei Zoo was absolutely incredible — honestly, I’ve never seen a zoo quite like this. We could’ve easily spent hours more there, but we decided to take the gondola over to Maokong instead. The gondola is a beautiful scenic cable car that connects the zoo to a scenic tea-growing region, packed with tea plantations, charming tea shops, and temples up on the mountain. It’s been such an amazing day! And tomorrow, we’re heading to Palau for some diving adventures, and our whole group will be joining us.
