To travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination.
After being robbed of my toys by some jerks I went looking for a group of River Riders to post my lost items on in the hopes of getting them back. I couldn't find one.
At least not in MN.
Certain I'm not the only one who's found themselves at the mercy of the Rum's harsh lessons I decided to start a group similar to the groups I did find. They looked fun and people were able to post lost and found items which would be pretty handy since paddling upriver sucks and walking river bottoms worse.
Help eachother by posting about hazards and sharing stories of near peril.
Honorable trade of used recreational river items and advice on equipment.
Post pictures of remarkable moments.
Coordinate and collaborate in the preservation of the Rum's ecosystem.
A place where Rum River shore dwellers can find their neighbors. It's nearly impossible to figure put who's across the river.
It's not like other groups.
Everyone here will get along, find their things, meet their neighbors, teach and learn from eachother kumbyay style.....
It will require no refereeing or oversight.
A self governing group going with the flow.
