🚨2 LITTLE LEAGUE BOARD POSITIONS OPEN!
Mifflinburg Area Little League is looking for two volunteers to join our District Board and help keep our Little League program strong, safe, and running for the kids in our community.

🔴 SAFETY OFFICER
The Safety Officer plays a critical role in keeping our players, coaches, volunteers, and families safe. Responsibilities include:
• Tracking all background checks & clearances for volunteers
• Coordinates all safety activities
• Ensures safety in player training & safe playing conditions
• Coordinates reporting and prevention of injuries
• Solicits suggestions for making conditions safer
• Reports suggestions to LL International through the league president.

⚾ UMPIRE-IN-CHIEF
The Umpire-in-Chief helps oversee and strengthen our league's umpire program. Responsibilities include:
• Recommending umpires to the league President for appointment to the league umpire roster
• Recruiting and retaining volunteer umpires
• Establishing a league umpire training program consistent with LL guidelines
• Coordinating and assisting with conducting umpire clinics at league and district level
• Communicating rule changes to league umpires
• Scheduling league umpires for regular season games
• Evaluating league umpires using established guidelines to maintain program integrity

❤️ THESE ARE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS, BUT THEIR IMPACT IS HUGE.
Our Little League doesn't run without dedicated volunteers stepping up to help.
Filling these two positions is essential to keeping our district Little League program up and running and, most importantly, ensuring we can continue providing a safe, organized, and positive baseball and softball experience for the kids in our community.

You don't have to do it alone. You'll be joining a team of volunteers who are all working toward the same goal: Giving our kids the opportunity to play, learn, compete, and create memories that last a lifetime.

⚾️🥎Fall Ball Update🥎⚾️

We have gotten a few inquiries and wanted to let everyone know that Fall Ball rosters have been finalized. Those that signed up should be receiving more information within the next week from your child’s coach.

‼️We are still in need of coach volunteers for our Baseball Coach Pitch division. Currently if we do not get a coach to volunteer we will not be able to provide a team for the kids who signed up to play on.‼️

🍂 Now that the Post-Season tournaments are winding down its time to look ahead to Fall! Click the link below to register your player today!

Fall Ball is open to:
• Kids who played in the spring and want to keep the momentum going
• New players who didn’t play in the spring but want to jump in this fall
👉 Note: Players who were not registered in the spring will have a $10 registration fee.

📅Practice and game schedules will be set at the beginning of August once teams and rosters are finalized.
✅Registration closes August 1st, don’t wait!

Tonight our final divisions Post Season run came to a close. Our Baseball Majors played a great game but came up short 4-5 against Lewisburg tonight.

These boys put up some great performances this tournament and have a lot to be proud of. 👏🏻💙

⚾️Our Baseball Minors ended their Post-Season tournament last night with a tough 4-14 loss to Central Columbia. They took the lead early on but were unable to hold onto it.

While this tournament didn’t end like we hoped, these boys can be proud of all the hard work they put in over these last few week. It was fun to get to watch you fight hard on the field. You all have a bright future ahead. 💙👏🏻

A great win tonight 13-7 vs Selinsgrove sends them onto the next round. They will play again Monday 7/6 @ 5PM, opponent TBD.

🌟Game Day Double Header🌟

Our last two MALL divisions still in the Post-Season tournament both play this evening, and both are Win or go Home.

⚾First our Majors Baseball looks to keep its momentum going from Monday nights win as they take on Selinsgrove @ 5PM today.

⚾Then our Minors Baseball has regrouped and is looking to battle it out to keep their tournament run going tonight as they take on Central Columbia @ 7:30PM.

🥎 Our Softball Minors Post-Season came to an end tonight against a tough Lewisburg team.

These girls can be extremely proud of how they played throughout this tournament. They never gave up even when falling behind in games and gave it everything.

We are proud of you girls thanks for a great experience getting to watch you play. 👏🏻💙

⚾️👏🏻 Our Baseball Majors picked up a big bounce back win tonight 10-2 vs Central Columbia.

Some great pitching only allowing 2 hits combined with all the boys contributing up and down the lineup helped secure a great game. Great work out there today!

They are back at it this Wednesday 7/1 @ 5PM, opponent TBD.
