Parents and athletes, I just want to say THANK YOU for everything last night!

Thank you to all of our parents for allowing your athletes to be a part of the Dunk a Wrestler fundraiser, staying and supporting our football players in the stands, and giving your time to help make the night a success.

More than anything, nights like last night are about building something bigger than wrestling. They give our athletes a chance to bond, support each other, and grow together—not just as a team, but as a family.

None of this happens without our parents’ participation, support, and willingness to get our athletes involved. I truly appreciate every one of you.

I’m excited for this season and even more excited to watch this team continue to grow, not only as wrestlers, but as young men and women and as a family. Let’s keep building! 💪🏽🤼‍♂️

I just want to take a minute to sincerely thank every parent and athlete who took the time to come out last night for our first team meeting. Seeing everyone in the room, hearing the excitement, and getting the opportunity to talk about the season really meant a lot to me.

Taking on this season means more to me than just wrestling. I care deeply about these athletes, and I want to help them grow not only as wrestlers, but as young men and women who are prepared for whatever life puts in front of them.

To the parents, thank you for trusting me and our coaching staff with your athletes. I know how important they are to you, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Your support, encouragement, and involvement are going to mean so much throughout this season.

To our athletes, I want you to know how excited I am to work with you. I believe in this team, and I believe we can accomplish some special things together. There will be tough practices, tough matches, and plenty of moments where we’re going to have to push through but those are the moments that will bring us closer and make us better.

Last night was just the beginning. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity, excited about the people in this room, and proud to be a part of this team.

Thank you for believing in us. Now let’s get to work and make this season something special.

Reminder there is a parent and athlete wrestling meeting this Monday, August 24 at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria at the high school. Recommend all parents and athletes to be there to go over the season sign parent and athlete expectation contract, going over our schedule etc, and meet our coach and booster club staff. Looking forward to having a great year!! Go bombers.
