Isaiha Casto (184lbs.) moved to 6-0 on the season after gaining wins Saturday over Midway and Cumberland (Tn). Also perfect on the day was Drake De La Cruz. He moves to 8-3 on the season at 174 lbs. Other highlights on the day were kirk Smitherman going 1-1 at 125, Zach Mullins 1-1 at 133 and Max Underwood 1-0 at 184. The wrestling team takes on Montreat and Truett McConnell next Saturday in N.C.

Successful day at the Averett University Cougar open. Much improvement with some great wins for the team. WVU Tech had 2 place winners in Drake De La Cruz and Zach Mullins. Both fought through tough 32 man brackets. Drake finished 4-1 taking 5th at 174. Zach finished 5-1 taking 5th at 133.
