Here’s your Public Skate schedule for Labor Day Weekend.

Fri: 7:00-9:00 PM
Sat: 1:00-3:00 PM & 7:00-9:00 PM
Sun: 1:00-3:00 PM
Mon: 12:00-2:00 PM

A couple reminders: Bar Down Bar and Cafe will only be open on Saturday this weekend. The Pro Shop will only be open 11-8 on Saturday.

Registration is open for Richmond Hockey Club Academy, our Level 2 Learn to Play program.
Academy builds on the foundation players develop in Future Caps, helping them grow their hockey skills, confidence, basic concepts, and team play.

⛸️ LEARN TO SKATE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Ready to get on the ice? Our Learn to Skate program at Richmond Ice Box is officially open for registration! Classes begin September 15th!

Tuition is $90/month and includes:
- 1 Learn to Skate class per week — 4 classes per month
- 30 minutes of practice ice immediately following each class
- Unlimited Public Skate sessions throughout the month

❄️ Prorated classes for September ❄️

Skate rentals are included at no additional cost for skaters enrolled in:
- Ice Explorers
- Beginning Foundations
- Hockey 1
Skaters in all other levels will need to pay for skate rentals if needed.

Coming Soon: Aspire Levels
Registration for our new Aspire levels will be opening soon! Aspire will replace Free Skate classes, so stay tuned for more information and registration details.

We’re excited to officially introduce Chris Burgess, General Manager of Richmond Ice Box!

Chris has been an important part of the Richmond Ice Box team for a while now, and as we continue introducing the people behind our facility, we wanted to give him the recognition he deserves. With 17 years of experience in the ice rink industry, Chris brings extensive knowledge, leadership, and a strong commitment to creating the best possible experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

As General Manager, Chris oversees all aspects of rink operations, including staff leadership, customer experience, facility maintenance, skating and hockey programs, special events, and community partnerships.

Chris’s passion for the ice sports community and dedication to providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment have already made a tremendous impact at Richmond Ice Box. We’re grateful to have him leading our team and are excited for everything ahead.

A pretty special day at the Richmond Ice Box! 🏒

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our Grand Opening with us.

Seeing the rink full of skaters, families, friends, and members of our community made the day even better than we could have imagined.
