Sassafras Stables at Norwood is looking to hire for the weekends, morning and afternoon shifts. Potential candidates must have a strong work ethic and reliable transportation. A paid working interview will be required.
There are up to 22 horses on site, all positions include but are not limited to:
-Daily stall cleaning
-Scrubbing/filling water buckets and troughs
-Filling and hanging hay bags
- Bringing in and turning out horses
-Putting on bell boots, blankets, fly sheets etc.
Week day shifts will be available, after the weekend shifts are fulfilled.

Sassafras Stables is looking for reliable full time and part time barn help starting the middle of January. All available positions are paid openings.

Full and part time positions available.
Typical Morning Hours 7:00-10:00
Afternoon Hours: 3:30- 6:00

Experience handling and caring for horses in a calm quiet demeanor is required, as well as a driver’s license and reliable transport. Willingness to learn how to drive the farm equipment (tractors and mower) is preferred. Ability to do minor fence repairs is a bonus.

Duties Include:

Feeding
Cleaning Stalls
Turning Horses in and out
Blanketing
Cleaning water buckets/Troughs
