27 years as a PGA Professional. ⛳️

September 1999 → September 2026.

This month marks 27 years since I was elected to membership in the PGA of America.

Looking back, there have been different courses, different roles, thousands of lessons and a whole lot of golfers along the way. But some things haven’t changed.

I still love helping people understand their swing and play better golf, but what I love most is helping people enjoy the game and bringing them together through it.

I’m grateful for the people, places and opportunities that have been part of these 27 years — and pretty excited about what’s still ahead.

Here’s to year 28. The best is yet to come. ⛳️

What a great kickoff to our Swing Into Summer series last week! ⛳️ We had a fantastic group 🙌 and some great progress right out of the gate.

⛳ Great day out at Stars and Stripes Golf Coaching Club!

The rain finally moved on, and we were back in the sunshine working on one of the most important shots in golf—the chip shot.

A few key reminders:
✅ Set the clubface grooves perpendicular to your target line
✅ Use a smooth, putting-style stroke
✅ Let the loft of the club do the work

💡 Pro Tip: Don't focus on the pin. Pick a landing spot—a specific blade or patch of grass—and chip the ball there. The ball will react much more predictably when you have a clear target.

Mastering your short game is one of the fastest ways to lower your scores and build confidence around the greens!
