ou successful. Born of a desire to help others find success in living a healthy and balanced life, Bethany - owner, certified health coach and personal trainer - started Pathway Fitness and Wellness. Bethany holds her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and her Health Coach certifications through the American Council on Exercise and NASM. She has spent over fifteen years as a personal trainer, health and physical education teacher, and coaching youth soccer and basketball.

“Before starting I thought I was active, but I was not focusing on whole body exercise. I found I had less upper body strength and was losing stamina. I told myself I would exercise but never did. I was referred to Bethany and found that she listened to what I wanted to achieve, and the plan she put together was designed to achieve those goals. She coached me through workouts, she tracked my progress and made sure I was comfortable with my progress. When I felt I was ready to push harder, she pushed me harder. My flexibility improved, I regained my upper body strength and surpassed my goals. And, as a side benefit, I lost weight as I toned which meant I lost inches. I am keeping the weight off, I continue to increase the weights and the number of reps I can sustain. I feel energized, sleep better, and my recovery after a session is faster. I have avoided osteoporosis, my risk of diabetes is non-existent, and my increased core strength has lowered my risk for falls.”
