On June 6, 2026, something powerful will happen at Resilient Martial Arts.
After years of training, setbacks, victories, challenges, and growthโฆ these students are stepping forward to test for new Black Belt ranks:
๐ฅ Connor โ training since October 2017 โ crossing over to 1st Dan Black Belt
๐ฅ Kaira โ began Karate in 2017 and transitioned to Taekwondo in June 2022 โ testing for 2nd Dan Black Belt
๐ฅ Emily โ training since February 2018 โ crossing over to 2nd Dan Black Belt
๐ฅ Camden โ training since March 2021 โ testing for 1st Poome
๐ฅ Haley โ training since March 2023 โ testing for 1st Dan Black Belt. She is also the third member of her family to earn a Black Belt.
Take a moment and really think about thisโฆ
These 5 students represent a combined 34 YEARS of consistent effort, courage, discipline, and resilience.
Most people dream about earning a Black Belt.
Very few stay committed long enough to become the kind of person who earns one, let alone a 2nd Degree Black Belt.
These students learned how to keep going when things got difficult.
How to push through frustration.
How to overcome self-doubt.
How to stand back up after failure and try again.
And somewhere along the wayโฆ they didnโt just build martial arts skills.
They built confidence. Character. Leadership. Perseverance.
Parents, this is what long-term growth looks like.
Not overnight success.
Not instant results.
But small victories repeated over time until a child becomes stronger than they ever imagined possible.
We are incredibly proud of each of these students and honored to be part of their Black Belt journey. โค๏ธ๐ค
