After a week of reflection, I have felt on my heart the importance of being bold in my faith. About 15 years ago, I named our gym Renewed Strength Fitness, inspired by Isaiah 40:31- “But those that hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
I realize these walls at Renewed Strength are more than just a fitness center- they are a place where people come to grow not only physically but mentally and spiritually as well. My desire has always been for these walls to be open to everyone, regardless of where they come from, welcoming all who seek a better version of themselves.
We’ve grown so much over these years, navigating challenges while striving to keep the main thing the main thing. Recent events surrounding Charlie Kirk have caused me to pause and remember why we are here and why I started Renewed Strength- to serve, to love, and to honor God in everything we do.
Now more than ever, I want our mission to be loud and clear. I want everyone to know what drives us- it’s faith, hope, and love, grounded in Christ. I’ve made my share of mistakes, but by God’s grace, this gym continues to flourish. From today forward, I want us to rebuild our strength- as individuals, as a community, and in our beliefs- with boldness.
In the midst of feeling helpless, I am reminded that God has given us a platform. I’m committed to using it to honor Him. Starting this week, we are doing a pre-order for custom shirts, with all proceeds going to Turning Point to support the vision Charlie Kirk had to ignite faith and hope in communities across the nation. Since his passing, over 32,000 chapters have started- I want to help ensure God’s voice continues to speak to millions.
We’ve partnered with Workman by Design to bring these shirts to life and invite you to be a part of this movement. More details will be coming soon- look out for an email to order.
Thank you to everyone- staff and clients- for being apart of something truly special. My prayer is that we grow together and become better every day. With faith and gratitude Levi & Rebecca Kirk.
