Good Evening MCSC Members,

We would like to inform you of a few events coming up this month at the club. Registration is currently open for the following events.

Aug 8th, 9am:Mid-Range Workshop
Aug 16th, 20th, 23rd, 27th, 30th: Summer Trap Event
August 29th, 9am: Clay Shooting Workshop

The Mid-Range workshop covers the various various equipment used to engage targets out to 600yds, fundamentals of shooting, basic ballistics, zero verification and chronograph data collection at 100yds. This event will culminate with shooting on the 600yd range. Participation will satisfy a portion of the requirements for at-will use of the 600yd range. Registration for this event is free. However, space is limited to 10 members therefore, registration is highly encouraged.

The Trap Event offers an opportunity to participate in a friendly and social club match. Participants will have 5 scheduled days to complete 4 rounds of trap for a total of 100 targets. A 5th round may be taken to attempt to improve the score of a previous round. During this event, the fields will be open to all members for regularly scheduled usage. Registration for this event is free, however the current cost of $5 per round applies.

The Clay shooting sports and sh***un workshop is open to all members, their spouses and juniors, and will feature use of our new training field to allow for an approachable experience to shooting a moving clay target. We will also be utilizing the s***t and trap fields to offer an opportunity for shooters of all skill levels. Registration for this event is free. However, members must pay for the clay targets. The current cost is $5 for 25 targets. Lunch will be provided during this event. Participation may satisfy a portion of the requirements for at-will use of the club provided throwers and clays at the s***t and trap fields.
