The MUGS family is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Ed Scott.
Ed was a familiar face on our fields and a dedicated umpire who genuinely loved the game of softball and the young athletes who play it. His commitment to youth sports, his love for the game, and his willingness to serve our community will not be forgotten.
Our hearts go out to the Scott family, Ed’s friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. We extend our deepest condolences during this incredibly difficult time.
Ed will be greatly missed, but his impact on our players, coaches, families, and fellow officials will remain with us for years to come.
