30 year throwback….. Our CATS would fit right in with the Halloween adventures of this month. In 2008 we honored Broadway shows in our recital. These dancers took several classes and did their own make-up to perform in “The Jellicle Ball” ballet. 🐱 They were awesome as these cat characters and represented the musical beautifully. CATS is one of the longest running shows on Broadway and has a film adaptation.
Our dancers enjoyed this recital and learning about various Broadway Shows. Jordan Beal has even gone on to perform professionally in several Broadway musicals. 💚👏🏻
Not only is this a great picture but a great “Memory.” iykyk 😉💃🏻🕺💚

30 year Throwback…. We have had several incredible recital productions, where dancers/classes represented characters dancing and acting the story. With it being October, we thought a character picture appropriate. This is just one of so many awesome character memories. In 2006 our dancers danced the story of Mary Poppins for their recital. Mary Poppins was a trailblazer at its time, combining animation with live action. One of our favorite parts of the show is when they jump into the chalk picture and Bert dances with the waiter penguins. Our penguins were exceptional tappers in full body penguin outfits. 🐧 They were awesome!!!….and aren’t they adorable!🥰. They definitely made the crowd giggle adding joy to all and hitting their tap sounds.
Adding to another’s life is the truest purpose of an entertainer! 💞 ✔️
This picture makes us smile & looking back on that show we can recall so many magical moments of dancers, of all ages. 💚
Thanks for the wonderful memories!💚🐧🎭🩰🪁☂️💃🏻🕺🥄…iykyk…

30 year throwback….. Main Street Odessa used to hold fall weekly lunches in Noel Heritage Park for downtown workers. We entertained during October with some fun Halloween dances! 🎃👻 We had tiny witches, Gypsy’s, aliens, ghostbusters and teen zombies all over the park during lunch. 💚
They had so much fun with these characters & performing during this Halloween month many moons ago!😈 🎃 What an awesome memory to look back on now! 🥰

30 year throwback….. in the late 90’s/ early 2000’s our competition/performing groups always had the best hair! ⭐️ Everyone told them how beautiful their curls were. We mastered rolling everyone’s hair (in an assembly line) the night before competition, pin curling them in the morning to last through 8 hours of classes & ready to shine in competition. Hot Sticks, sponge rollers, giggles & bonding. How cute is the beauty process?! 🥰💚

30 year throwback…..our first Dance Elite graduate; ✨Amanda Huff in her 1st professional dancer job in the musical TEXAS! 💃🏻Amanda trained with Dance Elite, gained a scholarship to Dance at Oklahoma City University, danced in Los Angeles at the EDGE pac, performed with several dance companies in her dance career and taught ballet in San Diego. She traveled with us in the summers and returned to help at the studio while in college. We even had several dancers in our dance family attend her wedding in California. 🌴💞 What a beautiful moment and supportive dance family! 💚
We are very proud of the dancer she became and the leader she is today.

30 year throwback…. 💚There is nothing more beautiful than the pure joy of dancing! 💖 With National Dance Day being this Saturday, we thought this was a perfect reminder of why we dance. Our kinder dancers performing at the Permian Basin Fair to “Your Momma Don’t Dance & Your Daddy Don’t Rock & Roll,” many moons ago, are the perfect example of the feeling in our souls when we dance.
Dancing impacts us physically, emotionally, mentally, socially and sometimes spiritually. ✨ Get up and DANCE! 💃🏻🕺 Remember this feeling & never stop dancing! (Even if it’s just in your kitchen!😉)
