Next weekend, WTMX will be holding the first round of the 2026 Big Side of Texas Fall Series promoted by Brownlee Racing. Saturday the 19th, we will have practice at 9:00 am. All riders will get two rounds of practice. At conclusion of practice, we will have a rider's meeting, followed by first motos.

Sunday, we will have sight laps at 9 am, followed by second motos.

Entry fees for the race will be $40 per entry. Gate fees are $20, per person for the weekend. There will not be a charge for Saturday practice. (You must be wearing your armband to be allowed to practice.)

To accommodate our out-of-town visitors, we will open the gates Friday from 5-9 pm.

WTMX will be closed to members and non members beginning Monday the 14th and will remain closed until we open the gates at 5:00 pm on Friday.

Every year in the Fall, we at WTMX switch our Saturday prepped track practice from 5-10 and change practice time to 12-5. This year, we will be switching over next weekend the 12th. We will continue that schedule until May of next year.

WTMX will hold our monthly membership meeting tomorrow, Tuesday August 25 at the track at 6:30 pm. We will discuss the night series we just finished last week as well as plans for the September Brownlee Series race. All current members are encouraged to attend.

Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday night to enjoy night racing at WTMX. It was a good way to end our 2026 Night Series. Thanks to Family Powersports for continuing to help us promote the series. We couldn’t do it without their support.

A special thanks goes out to Ronnie Mac for providing entertainment for all.

We have experienced technical difficulties posting end of series results. Our Trackside Publisher has malfunctioned but we are working on a solution. As soon as we get the problem resolved, we will have those results up on our website www.wtmxp.com.

WTMX will be closed to the public, both members and non members alike beginning tomorrow and will remain closed until Saturday at 3:00 pm when we open the gates for the 4th and final round of the 2026 Summer Night Series.

There will NOT be open practice on Wednesday. This will give our volunteer crew time to prepare the track and facility for the races.

We are having technical difficulties with our online signup. As soon as the system is back up, online registration will be open.

Internet has been down at WTMX this week. Due to this, there was a malfunction of our watering system and we did not get our nighttime watering . We have the system back up and are getting as much water down as we can before tonight’s 5:00 practice.

The track will be watered but not plowed. We will still have an open practice for members and non members. Non members will NOT be charged the regular $30 practice fee. There will be no charge. You will be required to check in and sign a waiver to ride.
