28 hours of rain, over 3 inches - play ball - on time - as usual......teams think about this. It is important to schedule events at a park that has a great reputation for playing games and working to get them in. We take care of our teams/ coaches/ parents and promote the great game of fastpitch - this weekend is our 250th fastpitch event !

This weekend - Memorial Day weekend will be the 250th fastpitch tournament here at Rowe Sports Complex !!! We have ran/ hosted 250 fastpitch events since 2012 , what an accomplishment. We have also ran 73 baseball events but we are known for Fastpitch. 3 great fastpitch coaches/ friends convinced us to go to Fastpitch - Cliff Killian, Ken Cox and Doug Lenos and we are sure glad we made the move. We sure can't forget Clyde "Shorty " Brewer and all the help he gave us along the way ! We now see the kids of the players who played here the first few years when we had just 2 fields and the sporting goods building and concession. We then added the indoor cage building and field 3, 4 years later. Turfed fields 1 and 2, 3.5 years ago and will be turfing field 3 in August. Every year we have made improvements to the park and we were voted a top 8 sports complex in Ohio now 5 years running. We have always strived to keep concession prices low, bathrooms nice ( heated and air conditioned ) and treat teams/ parents/ coaches and umpires with respect. We have seen 8-u players go onto play div. 1 softball and everything in between. We want to thanks teams/ coaches/ parents for trusting us to provide you with a quality environment and a well ran event. This year we have teams coming in from 7 states and we continue the legend of how great our dirt fields drain and play. We seldomly lose a game to weather and we work hard for the teams. Once again thanks to the thousands of teams that have played here, we really appreciate you all !

Our 12-u Team Combat Team - looking good girls!

Rowe Sports Complex is proud to announce we are re-starting the highly successful Team Combat youth Baseball and Fastpitch Program. We will be looking for boy's teams in the age groups of 8-u, 9-u, 10-u, 11-u and 12-u, girls fastpitch 10-u, 12-u, 14-u, 16-u - 2 teams at each level. We would like a c level and b level girls team at each age level and 1 - 2 teams at each boys level. Practices will be here at Rowe, we have a 3000 sf heated/ turfed indoor facility for teams and a full line sporting goods/ uniform shop onsite - AlphaDawg Sports. Discounts on bats/ equipment for team member families and coaches included. We will offer fund raising opportunities and parents can work shifts at the ball park to help pay team fees. The indoor facility will be a closed shop - only for in house team usage. Parents/ coaches will have in season ( March - Sept. ) access to the indoor facility for a small fee. The 4 Fields will be made available 2 days a week for teams to practice on, scrimmage and seasonal games can be scheduled here.
Teams will also get discounts on tournaments hosted at Rowe. We will also have spirit wear and team logo items for coaches/ parents/ siblings and players. It is truly a one stop destination for teams.

Park Rules Reminder

Parents/ Coaches/ Players we want to remind all of our park rules. Recently we have had many violations and we will start enforcing our rules, this is the last warning.

1. Please inform the kids ( and parents ) to STAY OFF THE FIELDS when they are not in use. The turf fields are not a playground.

2. No ALCOHOL is permitted in the park. Putting alcohol in Yeti type personal bottles is not acceptable. Please enjoy the games without alcohol here.

3. Outside food is not permitted, we do not currently inspect the wagons but will start very soon. We work extremely hard to make the concession stand service top notch, hot/ cold food that is reasonably priced ( cheaper than our competition ), served very quickly by our friendly family staff. People setting up buffet lunch lines in front of the concession stand is NOT acceptable, nor is setting up in the parking lot.

4. Vehicles are not permitted in the grass area/ field areas.

5. Our gate attendants are not to be verbally abused, ANY PERSON being verbally abusive will not be permitted into the park. When a team signs up for the tournament, the coach knows there is a parking fee, as do the parents so why argue/ degrade our staff. Once again you will be asked to leave and will not be permitted entrance to the park. The fee is clearly stated in the tournament/ league rules BEFORE the team signs up. This is now a ZERO TOLERANCE ISSUE.

We know 90% of the people who come here these rules won't apply to and we appreciate those people. Some organizations like the Outcast have been here since day 1 and we call them great friends of the park. These 90 percenter people keep us motivated to do our best for all the teams.

Why play at Rowe Sports Complex.

1. Turf infields on fields 1 and 2 - we play when others are rained out. Fields 3 and 4 drain as well as any dirt field around, we work hard to provide an excellent playing surface for your teams/ players.

2. Cheaper than most concession prices. We keep our prices lower than our competition and serve vey good quality food. We strive to maintain fast, efficient service and we hear our 100% all beef cheeseburgers are the best ballpark burger's around! No alcohol is permitted on premises.

3. Clean, airconditioned and heated bathrooms. We understand the importance of clean and comfortable bathrooms, especially for the ladies. The women's bathrooms have 2 baby changing stations and private, individual stalls.

4. Ample, level parking nearby the fields. We have 12 designated handicap spaces and can park 550 cars/ trucks/ suv's. No campers/ rv's are allowed - sorry. Our parking lots are within 100 - 500 ft of the fields, depending on where you park. Our parking lots are properly maintained/ level and flat.

5. Pet friendly - just clean up after them please. No pets allowed on the turf infields please.

6. Friendly, professional and helpful staff on site at all times. We try and accommodate all guests as best we can and try and make their experience here as well as can be expected. We are nearing 250 events hosted here since 2012 and we feel we run our events as well as anyone out there.

Rowe Sports Complex/ AlphaDawg sports would like to announce our partnership with Second to None Sports, based out of Wisconsin. Travis Clark ( Resmondo / Easton ) is the owner and we have been doing their hats for almost a year now. We reached an agreement yesterday and we will shift all of our sublimation work to S2N - they have a very talented professional art staff and have control of their production, not a fly by night overseas dealer - here today and gone tomorrow. We are looking to expand our offerings to teams/ organizations/ clubs and can offer a head to toe, equipment included, buying experience. We , here at AD, have been in the sporting goods business since 1996 and have over $190,000 invested in modern equipment and a combined 114 years' experience amongst the owners - we are not a basement dweller internet business. We probably sewed the hat you are wearing, lol.

The sports we can cover are football, baseball, fastpitch softball, slowpitch softball, basketball, soccer and wrestling. We offer IN HOUSE partial subdyes, screen printing, tackle twill, embroidery, vinyl cut numbers/ logos - all at our facility - under our control. We don't like to depend on large corporations to " get to us" when they can, why wait 6-8 weeks on hats when you can get them in 2 weeks usually - if in stock.

We also have the Rowe Sports Complex portion, to where teams can get a tournament fee discount if they purchase 1500.00 or more in products from us. We are on pace to sew over 40,000 hats/ flats, bags etc this year, we do more hats in a week than most everyone else does in a year.

Now who else has this kind of experience, this investment in equipment, the ability to produce high quality goods, turf fields/ sports complex, an indoor batting cage and the reputation for delivering quality uniforms at a fair price.
